EC&M Corporation is a privately held company, registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission in 1993 with authorized capital of P44.4 million. In the first six years of operation EC&M was focused on telecommunications related products and services, involved in the sale and installation of telecommunications outside plant products, fiber optics, payphones, DC power systems and telephone access.
By 2000 EC&M expanded its product lines into networking systems and broadband technologies. In 2004, EC&M added another service oriented product, its Internet Business Solutions through the WSI Global Network with products such as Web Conferencing, Live Streaming Video Broadcast, eLearning and eCommerce.
2005 is another turning point for the company when it branded ECM Networks. ECM stands for E-nabling Communities and Marketplaces. With its new branding, the company identified not only as an information communications technology (ICT) solutions porvider but also a major player in the distribution of wired and wireless networking and security products.
